Location is great - a few steps from ferry dock, a few more to the 'slow boat' dock. The hotel feels recently well refurbished, traditional without being 'precious.' The 'private park' is wonderful and unexpected. Service is attentive, gentile, helpful, without being overly present. Just perfect.

The location. It’s more on the quiet side of Lake Como unlike buzzing Varenna. Its location is perfect because it’s right by the ferry station. Super close to Villa Carlotta too. The hotel is nice & clean & has great service. They have good breakfast too & our balcony views were beautiful!

A very relaxing atmosphere with an amazing view overlooking the mountains with lots of birds in the air and amazing people. Mainly because the access to everything was very easy and the food is simply excellent, I have no words. It's really a luxury hotel by the lake and it's perfect for anyone who doesn't have a problem with heights ❤️

Beautiful little town on the Lake Como. Not much to do in the town itself but it’s very well connect to other towns like Bellagio, Menaggio and others. Quiet, away from tourists, perfect get away and the buzz of other towns is just a quick ferry journey away

Location was just perfect. Very nice pool and cocktail area on the terrace. Room was nice with a view of the lake. Shower was slightly damaged not good. Breakfast was awful and dinner was very below average. I would recommended eating outside in some very nice restaurants nearby.

Great location away from the tourist crowds. We hiked up to the San Martino chapel on advice from proprietors and we’re so glad we did. Stunning views. Corner grocery store had everything we needed.

The trip was incredible, but I wouldn’t recommend going during the off-season (Nov-Mar). There were almost no restaurants open, and their websites don’t update to show which are open and which are closed. So…lots of figuring things out at the last minute when the first 3-4 restaurants we wanted to try in a given town are actually closed.David

Andrea, the host, made us feel welcome from the get-go. Good and clear communication before hand and he provided a property that felt luxurious and provided (from its well positioned balcony) great views of the lake and the city of Bellagio. Two minutes walk gave us access to at least a couple of nice restaurants, access to the ferry to Bellagio and to a nearby bus stop that was a good option to travel to and from the train station.RaulUnited States of America

The entrance is very grand and yet it feels very welcoming - Reception team were helpful - our room overlooked the lake and we had a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs - the room was comfortable and elegant - The pool and bar areas are large and stylish - bar area overlooks the lake. Restaurant is bright, airy and elegant - overlooking the lake and a great way to start and end the day.

All the appartments are slightly different layout with the top floor lake view appartments the biggest and best. Helpful staff but checkin is at hotel Bazzoni in Tremezzo, about 15 minute walk away. Griante is a great location with scattered restaurants and cafes along the lake and 15 minute walk to Tremezzo.

The ferry port is 5 minutes walk and the ferry to lenno ( villa baldinello) is 5 minutes away as well. I’ll recommend eating dinner here because it was scrumptious and a great value for what was offered. The villa grounds are beautiful as well. Breakfast was great and the rooms very spacious

The view from all the rooms was great and we enjoyed the balconies. Lara sent me a lot of helpful information and tips before we arrived which helped us plan our visit to Como. We had a great meal at the Belle Isola restaurant on the ground floor of the building.
