First, the public bus from Bergamo was stopped just in front of this property. Second, I was welcomed with a big smile and excellent manner even before check in hours. Third, I could get perfect hotel and area information in fluent English. Forth, my room was very spacious and spotless clean. Fifth, they have a nice common room at same floor to use for 24 hours. They have everything to drink and eat. Especially, tea selection was fantastic. Sixth, they have a very nice restaurant at ground floor. Seventh, area was very peaceful and famous old village Cornello was short walking distance. Eighth, the host in this hostel was one of best where I had stayed in Italy.

Beautiful place: hotel, surroundings, gorgeous views and ambiance from the garden/restaurant (overlooking the city, and nestled beneath a castle and hanging vines + Chet Baker playing in the background <3); extremely nice staff. Breakfast is exceptional - easily one of the best ever imo and we travel a lot. The restaurant was a little pricey but amazing; the staff there were so kind, friendly, helpful, and gave us wonderful wine recommendations (extra special thanks to the wonderful sommelier); food was delicious (more fine dining style though so don't expect huge portions).

Paolo is a cheerful and very helpful young man. We received excellent service and quickly felt at home. Breakfast is great. Access to treks is easy. Coming back to a cold beer and a plate of cold cuts and cheese hits exactly the spot. We had a great vacation
