Surrounded by the Campania countryside and overlooking Mount Vesuvius, Il Nido Sorrento is a 10-minute drive from Sorrento. It offers free Wi-Fi and a free summer shuttle to the city centre. The hotel is beautifully located in Priora, a few minutes away from Sorrento. There is a shuttle bus that takes you from the hotel to downtown Sorrento and back, that runs all day which is very convenient to avoid driving in the winding roads of the surroundings. My wife and me loved that. There is good free parking in the place which was excellent as we arrived by car. The breakfast is excellent (the best orange juice you can get....from fresh oranges), from scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon to delicious pastry and fruits. You can have dinner as well for a very reasonable price...and the menu was very good. The restaurant where you have breakfast and dinner has a spectacular view to the Naples' gulf. The room we got was very clean and comfortable, with excellent wifi...and there is a laundry room well equipped that we used to wash and dry (5 euros each). The people at the hotel were incredibly friendly....with a special mention to Dino. He was always there to clear all doubts and give expert advice about what to do in Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. We appreciated very much his warm help. Grazie mile Dino!

Hotel Aminta enjoys a panoramic position over the Gulf of Naples, just 3.5 km from the centre of Sorrento. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. A free shuttle service runs at scheduled times. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The service was impeccable. We did not expect such 5 star service for the price of this hotel. The hotel itself was very well maintained. Everything was spotless. The staff treated us like royalty and were so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay absolutely perfect. The views from our room were to die for! It was beautifully decorated and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. We had a hard time leaving the property to site see as the amenities at the property were so excellent it was hard to leave to visit the town. The pool was beautiful with a hot tub with the view of the sunset. There is also a poolside bar which had excellent drinks and sandwiches which they can deliver to your chair poolside or you can sit in their pool bar. The Hotel Restaurant was the best dinner we had in Sorrento. Excellent service as well. A buffet breakfast was included with your stay which included everything from cereal and yogurt to scrambled eggs and bacon. They had a spinach pie which was the best thing I had ever had for breakfast! We cannot wait to go back to Sorrento to stay at this hotel again!
